Principal Dentist & Clinic Director
Dr. Ali Matin
DDS
Dr. Ali Matin is the founder and principal dentist of Perth Prime Dental. With over 25 years of clinical experience and a lifelong connection to dentistry — beginning in his father’s practice at just seven years old — Dr. Matin brings a rare depth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to every patient interaction.
After graduating with his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2000, Dr. Matin refined his skills across multiple disciplines before establishing Perth Prime Dental in the Perth CBD in 2015. His background in engineering gives him a uniquely analytical and precision-driven approach to complex dental procedures.
Dr. Matin holds advanced training in implant dentistry, cosmetic restorations, laser dentistry, Invisalign, osseo-densification bone grafting, ridge augmentation, and complex endodontic treatments. With over 1,000 dental implants successfully placed, he is one of the most experienced implant dentists in Perth — delivering predictable, long-lasting results for patients with single-tooth replacements, multiple implants, and full-arch rehabilitations.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Matin is a dedicated family man and the founder of Hope for Relief, a non-profit association supporting educational initiatives in underserved communities.
Dr. Ghassan Hamid

Associate Dentist
Dr. Ghassan Hamid is an experienced general dentist with over 20 years of clinical practice, recognised for his calm manner, gentle approach, and commitment to exceptional patient-focused care.
He completed his postgraduate training at the prestigious University of Otago, with advanced specialisation in endodontics and prosthodontics. Dr. Hamid has also contributed to dental education as a lecturer and examiner at the University of Otago and the University of Melbourne.
His clinical interests include root canal therapy, implant dentistry, and complex restorative treatments, with a focus on outcomes that are both functionally sound and aesthetically refined.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Hamid enjoys staying active and exploring new places — always with a great coffee along the way.
Dr. Anvitha Kudva

Associate Dentist
Dr. Anvitha Kudva is a committed dental professional with a strong emphasis on preventive dentistry and patient education. She takes an evidence-based, minimally invasive approach to care, empowering patients to take control of their long-term oral health.
Dr. Kudva has a particular interest in the management of anxious patients and children’s dentistry. Her calm demeanour, attention to detail, and tailored treatment approach help build trust and create positive dental experiences across all age groups.
She is dedicated to continuous professional development and delivers high-quality, ethical care aligned with current best practices in modern dentistry.
Outside of work, Dr. Kudva enjoys cooking and exploring diverse cuisines, travelling, and spending quality time with her family.
