Full-Arch Dental Implants Perth
In short: full-arch dental implants replace all the teeth in your upper or lower jaw, supported by implants instead of a traditional denture. At Perth Prime Dental in Perth CBD, the options are All-on-4, All-on-6 (a fixed bridge on 5–6 implants), snap-in implant dentures (removable, clipped onto implants) and zygomatic implants for severe bone loss in the upper jaw. Which one suits you depends on your bone, your budget and whether you want fixed or removable teeth. A complimentary consultation will show your options, with a written quote.

Your full-arch implant options
All-on-4
A full arch of fixed teeth on four implants, often with provisional teeth fitted the same day. From around $20,000 per arch. Read about All-on-4 →
All-on-6 (5–6 implants)
A fixed bridge supported by five or six implants. The extra implants spread the biting load, which can suit people with good bone volume, a strong bite, or who want extra support.
Snap-in implant dentures
A denture that clips securely onto two to four implants. You remove it to clean. It’s much more stable than a regular denture, usually costs less than fixed options and needs fewer implants.
Zygomatic implants
Longer implants anchored in the cheekbone (zygoma) when the upper jaw has too little bone for standard implants. This can avoid major bone grafting for some patients.

Who are full-arch implants for?
- People who have lost most or all of the teeth in one jaw
- People with failing teeth that can’t be saved
- Denture wearers who are tired of loose dentures, adhesives or sore spots
- People who’ve been told they don’t have enough bone for implants. Bone grafting, a sinus lift or zygomatic implants may still make treatment possible.
What to expect
- Complimentary consultation. We look at your bone, bite, health and goals.
- Options and written quote. We explain which options suit you, including when a conventional denture is the better choice, with itemised costs.
- Surgery. Any teeth that need removing are extracted, and the implants are placed under anaesthetic. With fixed options, provisional teeth can often be fitted soon after, depending on how stable the implants are.
- Healing. Usually about 3–6 months while the implants bond to the bone.
- Final teeth. Your final bridge or denture is made and fitted, then we review you regularly.
Paying for full-arch treatment
Full-arch treatment is a significant investment, so you’ll get an itemised written quote before you decide. Payment plans are available, and eligible patients may be able to access their superannuation early for medically necessary treatment. See payment options and our dental implant cost guide.
Risks and things to consider
All implant treatment involves surgery and carries risks. These include infection, swelling, bleeding, nerve injury, sinus problems and implants failing to bond to the bone. Zygomatic implants are a more complex procedure with their own specific risks, which we discuss in detail if they’re an option for you. Smoking, uncontrolled diabetes and poor oral hygiene increase the risk of complications. Results vary between people and can’t be guaranteed. You’re welcome to seek a second opinion before deciding.
Ways to pay: Afterpay, Zip, Zip Money, humm and DentiCare payment plans (subject to approval), all private health funds with on-the-spot HICAPS claiming, and early release of superannuation for eligible patients. See payment options.
Frequently asked questions
What’s the difference between All-on-4 and All-on-6?
Both give you a fixed full arch of teeth. All-on-4 uses four implants, often angled to make the most of existing bone. All-on-6 uses five or six implants, which spreads the load across more implants but usually needs more bone. Your examination and X-rays help decide which suits you.
Are snap-in implant dentures better than normal dentures?
For most people they’re much more stable. The denture clips onto implants, so it doesn’t slip when you eat or talk, and you don’t need adhesive. You still take it out to clean it each day.
What are zygomatic implants?
They’re longer implants anchored in the cheekbone. They’re used when the upper jaw has too little bone for standard implants, and can sometimes avoid extensive bone grafting.
How much do full-arch implants cost in Perth?
All-on-4 starts from around $20,000 per arch for a fixed acrylic bridge. All-on-6, snap-in dentures and zygomatic implants are quoted after your consultation, because the cost depends on the number of implants, any grafting and the type of final teeth.
Can I get teeth on the same day?
With some fixed options, provisional teeth can be fitted on the day of surgery or soon after, if the implants are stable enough. Your final teeth are fitted after healing.
